AutoCAD 2014 crashing with Splashtop Streamer installed?

Follow

AutoCAD 2014 and some other software (using .NET 4.0 or earlier) is not compatible with Windows Touch Input and Windows Creators Update.  See here

Splahtop Streamer supports touch input by default.  To work around the program from crashing, you need to disable Window Touch.  Set this registry value:

EnableSrvTouchInject=0

32-bit:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Splashtop Inc.\Splashtop Remote Server\

64-bit:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Splashtop Inc.\Splashtop Remote Server\

    I have the same problem but there is no entry of EnableSrvTouchInject anywhere in my registry. AutoCAD works fine for the most part. I can even use it ok when I connect remotely. My problem occurs after I return to my host computer - AutoCAD will crash after a few minutes of use. If I open AutoCAD again it will soon crash again. If I then close Splashtop Streamer, open AutoCAD, and then run the streamer again I am ok. Just a bit annoying to have to keep closing and opening streamer.

    @Splatt, if this is the same issue, you add the registry settings in the paths above to disable the Windows Touch.
