Spinning circle or green screen when trying to access a remote computer?

If you are experiencing a spinning circle or a green screen when remotely accessing a device or when toggling the Multi-monitor feature during a remote session, please turn OFF the Advanced Architecture setting.

Please do these steps on the "Remote From" computer, AKA the computer you're using to remotely access another computer.

Windows

1. Open the Business App

2. Go to "File" -> "Options" -> "Optimization"

3. UNCHECK the Advanced Architecture (codec) option.

4. Close Splashtop Business completely -> Reopen -> Try reconnecting to your remote computer

 

Mac


1. Open the Splashtop Business app

2. Click on Splashtop Business at the top left of your screen -> Click on preferences

3. Click Optimization -> UNCHECK the Advanced Architecture (codec) option.

4. Close Splashtop Business completely -> Reopen -> Try reconnecting to your remote computer
