Latest Update - Copy/Paste not working Properly + Num Lock stops working

Since the latest Splashtop Business update, Copy/paste between machines/sessions has not been working properly, it fails to copy/paste text between machines. Perhaps a related issue: the num lock keep (for keyboard num pad) 'turns off' between the machines too. It can be on the "host" machine, but turns off on the remote machine and vice versa. You go to use the number pad on the remote machine and need to press the num lock key before the num pad will work.

Copy/paste was working fine for year(s) before the latest update. You guys broke it with whatever new code added. Please fix asap!

Hello! While we look into this issue, please use the below workaround:

Disconnect from the session and turn on compatible legacy mode:

Windows: File --> Options --> Advanced Tab Enable "Use legacy compatible mode" Then reconnect to the session.

Mac: Splashtop Business --> Advanced --> Advanced Tab Enable "Use legacy compatible mode" Then reconnect to the session.

  • Same here on the copy/paste. It doesn't occur on all computers/servers we connect to, but on the ones were it does occur I can't copy/paste text or files. Reconnecting to the machine or restarting Splashtop doesn't fix it.

  • Same issue here,  Uninstalling the streamer, purging out c:\programdata\splashtop and then reinstalling the streamer will fix it for roughly 24 hours before the issue returns.

  • Same here. I'm on a Mac and having same issue. I've tried reinstalls and reboots. Sometimes works again temporarily then stops again. Any feedback support?

  • Guess what! I used chat support and they gave me a solution that worked. Please find below:

Disconnect from the session and turn on compatible legacy mode:

Windows: File --> Options --> Advanced Tab Enable "Use legacy compatible mode" Then reconnect to the session.

Mac: Splashtop Business --> Advanced --> Advanced Tab Enable "Use legacy compatible mode" Then reconnect to the session.
