I would like to see the ability to “end session” or “end session and lock computer” as a choice at the top of the session window. If I’m on live with a person I don’t want to lock their computer when I end the session. On the other hand, if I am on during office hours that would be the preferred way to end the session.

A "Disconnect" button is at the top of the session window.
There is also a workaround to end a remote session without locking the computer.
First, you'll need to disable the "enable lock screen at the end of session" function in the streamer settings. For security reasons, it is always enabled by default.
After disabling, clicking the Disconnect button during a session will leave your computer unlocked.
