Blue Screen of Death on Win 8.1 using Streamer 2.6.5.3 (M)

We run all windows 7 Pro machines in our office with 1 Windows 8.1 machine. With the splashtop streamer 2.6.5.3 (M) installed every time we try and connect to the 8.1 machine is crashes the computer and causes a blue screen of death on the 8.1 machine. I have uninstalled the streamer and even used the cleanup tool provided by Splashtop Support before reinstalling the streamer but the problem is still present.

I'm not getting any response from Splashtop Support. Does anyone here know what is causing this?
