Installing Streamer but can't log in

I installed Streamer to a Windows XP (windows firewall) computer using the link.  It installed fine but when I entered the access code and clicked on 'Allow Access' I get an error Unable to Log In.  Please make sure you're connected to the internet etc.  I am connected to the internet as I am doing this remotely through TightVNC and there is no proxy on the computer.  It just seems unable to to reach the Splashtop server to verify the code.  I also tried turning off the firewall and Panda Cloud AV and got the same results.  I also tried manually using the Splashtop Account Login as well but with no better success.  Idea?

    Please let me know the OS version that the streamer does not work on. Please also let me know the version of the streamer. Thank you.
