Chat windows

We use LogMeIn Chat Windows a lot, it's a fast and easy way to stay in touch with our user during the support time.

It will be nice if splashtop have this feature.

  • This is definitely a necessity! I find myself needing to communicate, or explain the modifications I'm making, to some of my clients during remote support sessions. A chat feature would greatly improve the efficiency of the 'technician to client' transaction.

  • Chat is a requirement for end-user support.  I guess I'll resort to Notepad chat for now since the pros outweigh the cons, but I 100% concur this is a required feature for any true business remote solution.

  • This function is a basic function of remote support.  Voice communication is not always an option.  It is crazy having to brig up a text editor or word processing program to chat instructions ETC.

  • Dear Splashtop admins. This is the ONLY feature that is keeping us from moving our remote IT support to Splashtop. Please either add it in or provide a third party app we can use to chat with our clients while we are working

    Thank you everyone for your input and sharing usage scenario which always help us improve Splashtop products. Development team are still evaluating what the best way is to let users communicate each other during the Splashtop remote sessions.

    And since engineers recently are busy developing new generation streamer and business client (they should be soon available), we do not have a time schedule for chat feature yet. I will keep you updated here.
