Splashtop Streamer Service keeps stopping

Having major issues with the Splashtop Streamer service stopping across our customer base. It seems to be around 9am every morning it just stops, which means the users working from home cannot connect.

Anyone else come across this? This is happening on Win 10 and Win 11, on and

Windows logs don't provide any reasoning behind the service stopping.



  • A remote computer stopped working at 17.15 (Central European Time = 8.15am Pacific time) and popup windows asks to make sure Streamer is working. Di you manage to solve this?


  • I have a computer that is having this problem too. I'm on streamer version The only events logged are the operational notificatios that the streamer service is offline. I have some error logs that are disjointed from the time of service shutdown by a random interval ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. These logs show up in the Windows Application Log. Here is an example that happened this morning:

  • I just opened a support request.

  • The solution I received was to update the streamer to v. What did anyone else receive as a "fix". Issue was said to be bad last two updates?
