Splashtop Business App (Windows): Minimize/close to system tray

I'd like to have the ability for the Windows Splashtop Business App to natively minimize to the system tray, rather than remaining active on the taskbar.

Also, when clicking the 'Close Window' X, it might be nice to have an option to have that action also minimize the app to the system tray when remote connections are active, instead of getting the popup asking if you want to terminate active connections and close the app.

I've gotten used to this system tray behavior coming over from TeamViewer. It's nice to be able to keep the client open without having it take up real estate on the taskbar.

Thanks!

  • @Chris,

    Thanks for the feedback!

This has been raised by other users, too, and in our backlog. We will evaluate how to handle this best. Please stay tuned!

    Thanks,

  • I see that this was stated to be planned 6 months ago.  Are there any updates to do this anytime soon?

  • @Monica,

Yes, this is supported. Please open the app, go to Files/Options to check "Show system tray icon". Then when you close the business app, it will be minimized to the system tray.

    Thanks,
