computer emulation & full-screen windows

NoMachine is less usable when connecting with mobile devices, but it does have one advantage. It can handle PCem and QEMU windows with a mouse cursor in them. When I try to interact with the window using Splashtop on the other hand, they can't detect any mouse on the host. I suspect that's connected to the problem with full-screen windows, because when using VMware Workstation VMs, if I set the VM resolution to the same as the desktop, I have a similar headache. In Splashtop, any mouse movements at the window corners for hotspots or hidden taskbars won't be noticed. They are detected by the VM in NoMachine, though.
