Why is my local cursor so HUGE?

Whenever I log in to my Mac desktops via the Splashtop Business app (v3.4.0.1), my local cursor becomes gigantic (see attached photo). The issue is particularly noticeable when a text selection/insertion cursor is active.

The issue occurs regardless of the state of the "Show Remote Cursor" option, and the issue only occurs in Splashtop Business, and no other app on my workstation (even other VNC/Screensharing apps).

I'm running on macOS 10.14.6, connecting to remote macOS 10.14.6 servers running Splashtop Streamer 3.4.0.0
