more control on remote display names and shortcuts in multi-monitor

Team Ed Hwong Aug 18, 2022, 16:22 PDT I have a remote computer that has 6 external monitors of the same exact brand of monitor, so the monitor selection menu is useless i.e. knowing which monitor # is which display is impossible. 3 features would make this a lot better: 1. have a menu command (with accelerator key) that displays the monitor # overlaying the screen. This would show when viewing one monitor -- but also should show in the all monitors-in-one view as well. NoMachine does this well and it helps to show which monitor you’re on or all of them at once. 2. allow us to rename the monitor names in the drop-down menu (add custom label). this helps make the menu useful. 3. allow us to remap the accelerator key/shortcut in the drop-down menu to any key we wish. This makes the shortcuts more meaningful and memorable. Any or all of those would be super useful to figure out which monitor means what.
