Kaspersky self protection and Splashtop remoter support.
Kaspersky self protection prevents Splashtop interacting with it. I had to go back to using Teamviewer before I could do anything.
Will this issue be resolved in the near future?

@Info,
Sorry it currently is a known issue, and there is no effective solution in near future.
A year has gone by since the ST support reply. Any update on this?
@Dennis,
Sorry, this is still a known issue. I will check with the development team again, and update if any other news.
Thanks,
Vans
@all,
We gave a test again, it seems there is no issue configuring Kaspersky during the remote session to a Windows 10 PC, but can't work on a Windows 7 PC. What is the OS on your device?
Windows 7 pro 64 bit
@Dennis,
We gave it a try in-house. It could work on Windows 10, but also not on Windows 7. We think it might be Kaspersky itself blocks the remote command sent by Splashtop. We don't know why, though.
We are at the same time contacting Kaspersky to find out more clues.

I just remoted on a Windows 10 x64, I could make changes to Kaspersky Antivirus with no problems.. but I haven't been able to make changes to Kaspersky in Windows 7
Hi any update on this???
Triailing Splahtop.............
I've found that if I disable self defence then I can manipulate Kaspersky settings. But it's not something I'm sure my customers would want to do.
however given the decreasing number of customers with Win 7 not too big an issue.
Just one major customer who has a fair number of Win 7 clients. Though is with walking distance so can visit if necessary!
This is all just Win 7 so the must be some hook into the O/S that Splashtop is using that Kaspersky detects
