Cannot Use DEL, CTRL, etc. on Splashtop Business (Win) client

I cannot use the CTRL, SHIFT, DEL, etc. keys on Splashtop Business client for Windows.  They work fine on both computers using the plugged in keyboard, but when remoting in via Splashtop those keys will not work on remote computer.
