Sending "Hide", "Hide Others" & "Preferences" keyboard shortcuts to a remote app

In the year I've been using Splashtop Business, I have not managed to teach my hands to NOT use the standard keyboard shortcuts for Hide (current app), Hide Others, and Preferences when I'm working on a remote Mac screen. I keep hiding Splashtop's window and opening Splashtop's Preferences.

I'm thrilled to have discovered a way to send Command+H, Option+Command+H, and Command+comma shortcuts to a remote app. Simply change the Splashtop Business shortcuts using System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts as shown in this screenshot:

Note: The ellipsis (…) on Preferences is essential.  It can be typed as a single character: Option+semi-colon.
