Heavy CPU usage

In the past, there was very little CPU usage by Splashtop while idle. I usually leave several windows open and doing nothing. In the past month or so (since the latest updates?) I'm consistently seeing 15-20% CPU usage, which slows down other activities.

Perhaps Splashtop can address this latest introduced inefficiency.
