Splashtop Business app refresh issue
I've opened a ticket and asked Splashtop support about this in the past, but I didn't really get much help. I am an IT support business owner that works primarily from an iMac. I have used Splashtop for several years and rely on it daily. I would say that over the past 5-6 months I've had a ton of trouble with the Splashtop Business app on my iMac.
I typically leave the app open so that I can search for and connect to client computers as needed. I will normally hit the Refresh button in the app before I search for a computer (to make sure all of the statuses are up to date, etc.). What's happening more and more is that the app will stop responding after I hit the Refresh button. It never crashes, but the refresh progress circle just spins and spins. Then I cannot connect to any remote computers. I have to Quit the app and open it back up.
This is where it gets even more annoying. Sometimes when opening the app back up, it won't connect to the Splashtop servers and retrieve my list of available computers. I have to Quit and re-open the app again and again until it decides to connect properly. It's all a huge headache and waste of time during busy days.
I have tried using the uninstaller, rebooting, then reinstalling. I've gone through multiple versions of the Splashtop Business app.
I'm running MacOS 10.15.7 on a 2017 iMac with 40GB of RAM. I'm using Splashtop Business version 22.214.171.124 (Global).
Is anyone else having issues like these?
