Remote Session Mac - Screen Black on Remote Client

When connecting to a 2013 Mac Pro running MacOS 12.2.1 from a MacBook Pro M1 running MacOs 12.2.1 the remote view of the screen always comes up black.   Both are running the latest versions of Splashtop 3.5.0.

The connection is good as I can see the cursor moving on the remote Mac but no matter what setting I try the screen is always black.

When I try the reverse connection from MacPro to the MacBook Pro the connection is fine and I can see the screen from the remote.

Any help would be appreciated
