The Single Sign-On feature requires having Splashtop Enterprise.
After you set up an SSO method on the web portal (my.splashtop.com / .eu) and confirm that you can log in successfully, now you can import your users using a CSV file.
Flows
- Set up your SSO method. (Instruction)
- Invite a user with the created SSO method (Instruction) or associate an existing user with the created SSO method (Instruction).
- Test login using the above user.
- For your created SSO method, start to import users using a CSV file.
- Added users with this import process do not go through any invitation process.
Requirements
- The SSO method has to pass the verification procedure. (You can contact sso-verify@splashtop.com if any questions when the SSO method is waiting for approval.)
- It is only CSV file format supported
- The data in the file has to follow the standard layout. You can download the users_example.csv below to check the layout/format.
- You cannot start importing another CSV file until the current import has completed.
Available fields
- Splashtop account: Enter the email address that will be associated to the imported user's account.
- Group: If you would like to import the user into a group, please enter the group's name.

Display name: If you wish the user to have a display name, please enter it.
- If you do not enter anything, the name will be the email address.

License type: If you do have both Support and Access license types in your subscription, you will have the possibility to enter the license you want the user to be associated with.
- If you do not enter anything, the user will be associated to an access license.
- If you only have support licenses, the user will be associated to a support license.

Role: For Admin and Member roles, you can also enter it directly in the CSV file.
- Only the owner and super admins can assign the Admin role to a user.
- If you leave it blank, the user will be imported as a member.

- The team owner's email address will receive an email after import process completes. There will be a list of the emails that failed importing, if any. Please have a look at the troubleshooting article to see any of the reasons.
- Besides the report email, you can also check Logs / History on the web portal (my.splashtop.com / .eu) for the import logs.
