When you are connected to a computer in a remote session, the screen may be blurry. If so, there could be a video rendering or screen capturing issue for the remote session.
Solution
For Windows/Mac:
1. Check that the business app is updated to the latest version (follow the link to see how to update the business app).
2. Check that the streamer is updated to the latest version (follow the link to see detailed information on streamer updates including how to manually update the streamer).
3. If this does not resolve the issue, enable the legacy compatibility mode (making sure to disconnect and reconnect after making the change).
- Mac: Business app (purple icon) → Preferences → Advanced → Use Legacy Compatible Mode (check box)
- Windows: Business app (purple icon) → File → Options → Advanced → Use Legacy Compatible Mode (check box)
4. If the issue persists (the following step is for Windows users only), please open the business app, click the "File" button, click the "Options" button, click the "Advanced" tab, click "Advanced settings" and select another video rendering option for the business app. After, make sure to disconnect and reconnect after making the change. (Follow the link to see Video Rendering Options for the Windows Splashtop Business App)
If the issue still occurs, please try adjusting to each of the available video rendering options to see if there is any improvement (making sure to disconnect and reconnect after making the change).
