If you no longer need your Splashtop team, you can shut it down yourself from the Splashtop Console. This works for both trial and paid subscription teams. Only the team owner can shut down a team. If you belong to more than one team, you’ll first need to switch to the team you want to close.
This article walks you through switching to the correct team (if needed), finding the shutdown option in your team settings, and confirming the shutdown.
Note: If Splashtop logs you in to the wrong team, you can change your default team. See How to configure your default (initial) team.
Important: Shutting down a team is permanent and cannot be undone. If you shut down a team with an active subscription, any remaining time is forfeited and will not be refunded or credited.
Logging in to the console
- Log in to the Splashtop Console at my.splashtop.com (or my.splashtop.eu for EU accounts).
-
If you belong to only one team, skip to step 4. If you belong to two or more teams, click the blue circle in the top-right corner, select Team, then click the team you want to shut down. You can only shut down teams you own.
-
When the Switch Team pop-up appears, click Switch.
Shutting down the team - Click Settings in the left-hand menu, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Shut down this team.
-
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Please read this message to confirm you want to shut down your team. If you shutdown an active subscription/team, you will lose any remaining time on the subscription and are not refunded or credited. This action is not reversible.
Once you have confirmed the popup message > Click on Shut down to close your team.
