How to get a PKG file for Microsoft Intune from Mac OS DMG file

Adding macOS line-of-business apps to Microsoft Intune could help to push the Splashtop apps to multiple remote Mac machines. Here are the instructions from the Microsoft support page.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/lob-apps-macos

In the instructions, the pkg files for Splashtop apps are required. The installation package can be downloaded from Splashtop web console (my.splashtop.com--Management--deployment--deploy button) or from this link directly (https://my.splashtop.com/csrs/mac), but those are dmg files. You can follow the instructions below to get the pkg files from the dmg files for the streamer app.

1. Download the Splashtop Streamer dmg file and open it from the Mac computer
2. Press Command + Shift + . (period) to show the hidden files.

3. The pkg file will show up, then you can copy the file to another location and remove the first .(period) from the file name to make it visible.
