Sending debug logs via SOS is simple. In cases where issues cannot be solved easily, our development team will need to diagnose the issue and determine possible troubleshooting steps. In order to provide them with up to date information, debug logs can be sent from SOS app on many OSes/devices.

For the SOS app on Windows
1. Click on the "Settings" tab.
2. Click on the "Send Debug Logs" button.
3. A prompt will show when the log is successfully sent.
4. After the log has finished sending, please include the Log ID in the ticket so our support team can locate the debug log.
For the SOS app on Linux
1. Click the SplashtopSOS executable file.
2. click the "Uploaded debug log" button once the app opens.
3. Click the "Send" button.
4. Wait until it shows "Upload succeeded," and share the log ID with the support team, as shown in the red square.
For the SOS app on Mac
1. Click SplashtopSOS.dmg to open it.
2. Double-click the icon to start the support session.
3. Click the Splashtop SOS next to the Apple icon on the upper left corner of your screen.
4. Click the "Send Debug Logs..." button
5. Click the "Send" button.
6. Wait until it shows "Upload succeeded," and share the log ID with the support team, as shown in the red square.
For the SOS app on Android
1. Click the three dots on the upper right corner of the app window.
2. Click the "Settings" button.
3. Click the "Send debug log" button for troubleshooting.
4. Click the "Send Debug Log" button
5. Wait for the logs to be sent completely.
6. Wait until it shows "Upload succeeded," and share the log ID with the support team, as shown in the red square.
For the SOS app on ios
1. Click the "gear" icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Click the "Send debug logs."
3. Wait until it shows "Send Log succeeded," and share the log ID with the support team, as shown in the red square.
