RMM - Send Debug Logs

For RMM's troubleshooting Splashtop issues and are escalating to Splashtop Support, please help send a set of debug logs from both the following:

  1. RMM client
  2. streamer program

Provide the upload number/log ID for each.

 

For Splashtop for RMM Client App on Windows:

Open Splashtop for RMM

Click "Send Debug Logs" > "Send" > Provide the upload number for your Splashtop Technician

 

For Splashtop for RMM Client App for Mac:

Open Splashtop for RMM

Click "Help" > "Send Debug Logs" > "Send" > Provide the upload number for your Splashtop Technician

 

For Streamer:

1. Open the Streamer application https://support-splashtopbusiness.splashtop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001525872-How-to-Open-Splashtop-Streamer.

  • Windows: Open the Start menu or system tray and open Splashtop Streamer.
  • Mac: Open the Splashtop Streamer icon in the toolbar on top of the screen. Or head to Finder > Applications and open Splashtop Streamer.

2. Click on the "Advanced" tab, scroll down to the last section called "Streamer log files"

3. Click the "Send debug log" button

4. A prompt will show when the log successfully sends

5. After the log has finished sending, please include the Log ID in the ticket so our support team can locate the debug log.
