Overview
As local admin credentials are required to execute macOS patch for Endpoint Management, Credential Management is a powerful feature designed to help administrators manage device credentials across their organization efficiently and securely. Only the Team Owner and Super Admin can use Credential Management.
Supported Subscriptions
Your team must have Splashtop Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) enabled or have a Splashtop Remote Support Premium or Enterprise (support license) subscription.

- Remote Side: macOS only; Streamer v3.7.4.2 or later
Accessing Credential Management
From the web console > Management > Credential Management
Purpose

Add, edit, and delete credentials for your entire team
Adding a Credential
- Click "Add Credential" button

Required Fields:
- Credential Name
- Username
- Password
- Confirm Password
Important Validation Rules
- All fields must be completed to enable "Create" button
- Duplicated credential names are not allowed
- Password confirmation must match the initial password
Editing Credentials

Access via "more" (•••) button
- Credential name can be directly edited
- Username and Password require "Change" button to modify
- Both username and password fields clear when "Change" is clicked

Deleting Credentials

Accessible via "more" (•••) button
- Deletion consequences:
- Invalidates credential across all assigned groups/devices
- Changes corresponding action to "Follow Group"

Deletion reminder will be displayed
- Expired teams can still delete credentials
- Stored credentials automatically deleted when team is shut down

- Default applied credential: "No Credential Set"
- Can select from credentials created in the Credentials tab
- Searchable by Action Kind or Applied Credential

Override group or device credentials and manage device approvals
Group Level
- Columns: Name, Action Settings
- Default setting: "Follow Default Action Settings"
- Can edit credentials via icon or bulk actions
- "Overridden" status when custom settings applied
Device Level
- Columns: Name, Action Settings, Approval Status
- Default setting: "Follow Group"
- Can edit credentials via icon or bulk actions
- Approval Status controls credential usage
- "Overridden" status when custom settings applied
Key Approval Rules
- New devices require owner/super admin approval
- Bulk approval/rejection available
- Reminder icon appears when device attempts credential access
Applying updates after having applied credentials

From Software > OS Patch (Computer View), select your computer(s) and then click on the Actions button

You will then be able to continue and apply selected updates by clicking the Next button
