For the new Splashtop Business app interface (available under Experimental Features), hardware acceleration is enabled by default for remote sessions to help deliver better performance.
In some environments, you may want to disable hardware acceleration for compatibility or troubleshooting purposes.
How to disable hardware acceleration (Mac)
- Open the Splashtop Business app
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to the Optimization tab
- Find the option Disabled hardware acceleration
- Toggle it on, and choose one of the following:
- Attended (SOS) sessions
- Unattended sessions
- Both
