    I reckon it would be would be better still if the 'hide the toolbar' option showed in every screen mode!

    @J.B & Che-Jp,

    In the new design, you can hide the toolbar when in full-screen mode. When in windowed mode, the toolbar can't be hidden but it does not cover/block any of remote screen, it acts as an additional part on top of the remote window.

    Can you help shed some lights on why you need to hide the toolbar also in windowed mode? I will make sure the development team are aware of the feedback. Thank you!

    Hey Vans

    Thanks for your response. For my part, I often need to view info on my own screen while I'm controlling another machine so I don't use full-screen mode. To lose a chunk of real estate at the head of the window is not productive. Especially so as, while I do use (very occasionally) the file transfer, the rest of the buttons are almost redundant - I was quite content to use the 'caret' at the head of the screen when I needed to access Splashtop controls. So this new look is completely un-necessary for my use of your product. To use an analogy, when I'm driving my car, I don't expect the top of the windscreen to be blocked off with stuff that I don't need to use in order to drive; I want to be able to see as much as I can of where I'm going. And, full-screen mode is like having no side windows!
