Web App

Web App is a feature that allows you to initiate connections from your browser to your remote computers. No installation is needed on your local computer!

This feature is now available on Splashtop Enterprise, Splashtop SOS Basic, Splashtop SOS+, Splashtop Business Access Solo, Pro, Performance and Splashtop Remote Support Premium. In the coming months, we will be rolling out this feature to our other non-legacy products. Stay tuned for more information!

Note: This feature is not supported on Streamers running on Windows 7

Getting started

The Web App setting is configurable by the team owner only. To enable it, click the Management tab, then Settings.

Security

Web app follows the security settings on streamers such as OS credentials, security code, and request permissions.

Note:

While you already have a web app session, you can only establish multiple sessions from the same web browser. Each additional remote session initiated from the same web browser will appear in its own tab.

This means that if you already have session(s) from one web browser and attempt to start another session either from a separate incognito web browser, another web browser, or native Business App on the same machine, you will still receive a connection error.
