It is good to know before you connect to a computer if someone else is connected to the computer or if there is someone else using the computer physically. Splashtop provides a feature to check for "User Activity." It detects keyboard and mouse activity to give you an idea if a computer is being used or is idle.

How to tell if someone else is remotely accessing the computer
1. Open the Business app on your computer.
2. On your computer list, if a user is remotely connected to a computer, you will a see a green circle with an arrow around the computer icon.
3. For more detailed information, you can click on the gear icon.
4. On the box that shows up, you can see who is currently connected, along with the time that they started the remote session.

2. On the computer list, if another user is connected to a computer, the icon will have a green circle around it.

4. On the Properties page, you can see who is connected, along with the date and time they started the session.
How to tell if someone is physically using the remote computer
1. Open the Business app on your computer and log in.
2. Select the computer and click on the gear icon on the right side.
3. On the Properties box, the field named "User Activity" will show if someone is actively using the keyboard and mouse on the computer itself.
4. If there is no user activity, the following message will show up in the "User Activity" field, with the time that it's been inactive.
