Introduction
Using the Remote Wake function, you can wake up a device remotely via Splashtop. However, this does not work out of the box. The underlying protocol that the Remote Wake function uses is Wake-On-LAN. Prior configuration on the target device as well as in the target network is required.

Subscriptions
Remote Wake is available for the following subscriptions:
- Splashtop Enterprise
- Splashtop Remote Access (Solo/Pro/Performance)
- Splashtop Remote Support - SOS (10/300)
- All legacy plans except: Splashtop Business Access Solo, and Splashtop Remote Support Basic
Platforms

Configuration
First of all, you have to make sure that the target device supports Wake-on-LAN, and enable it in the BIOS/UEFI. On older systems, the setting might be called WoL (Wake-on-LAN), on newer systems it might be called PME (Power Management Events, which include WoL).
Second, you have to configure the Ethernet Network Adapter/ Network Interface Controller (NIC).
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings:
Select the correct Ethernet NIC > More Adapter Options > Edit:
Click on Configure > Advanced, find the entry "Wake on Magic Packet", and make sure that it is enabled:
Third, you have to connect the target device to the network via an ethernet cable. Connecting via Wi-Fi will not work.
Fourth, you have to disable Fast Startup.
Please open the Control Panel, and go to Power Options:
Click on "Choose what the power buttons do":
Under Shutdown settings, check if "Turn on fast startup" is disabled. If not, please disable it. If the setting is grayed out, please first click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable", then disable "Turn on fast startup":
Lastly, you will need to have at least on additional device in the target network on which the Splashtop Streamer has been installed, and that is not in sleep mode/ turned off.
How to use Remote Wake
First, select the device you want to wake up, and click on the gear icon:
Second, click on the "Wake up" button in the computer settings:
Click on the three blue dots on the right next to the target device, then click "Wake computer":
Select "Auto" if you want Splashtop to automatically select the devices that will send the Wake-on-LAN magic packet to the target device. Select "Manual" if you want to select which devices will send the Wake-on-LAN magic packet to the target device:
