If the Splashtop SOS application is closing after you or your end-user double-click to start the support session and before the 9-digit code is generated, please follow these steps:
1. Please double check the Mac's System Preferences -> Security and Privacy settings and make sure that "App Store and identified developers" is selected.
Click "Open Anyway" if Splashtop SOS was blocked.
2. Using Spotlight Search by pressing Command + Spacebar, navigate to the file path: Users/Shared and delete the SplashtopSOS folder.
Right click the SplashtopSOS folder and delete the whole folder.
3. Try opening the Splashtop SOS file, double click the SOS icon to start the remote session, and see if the 9-digit code populates.
Be sure to follow this article to set up the required permissions for Splashtop SOS to run properly.
