When you are connected to a device with the the iOS Splashtop business app, the remote session may get disconnected after a specific amount of time after you switch to another app. The Background mode setting allows you to configure the amount of time a remote session is maintained after you switch to another app. The default value for the Background mode setting is "10 minutes". Also, the Splashtop streamer has the ability to automatically disconnect the session if no keyboard or mouse input is detected through Splashtop (follow the link to see the streamer's idle session timeout setting).
Solution
1. Please click the Gear icon in the lower right of the Business app on the iOS device.
2. Please click the "Background mode" setting.
3. Configure the "Background mode" setting to the appropriate amount of time or turn it off.
