SOS Global invitation template

Owners and super admins can now centrally manage SOS invitation messages and the download link, ensuring a consistent and standardized experience for their end users. When the Global Invitation Template is enabled, a single invitation message is applied across all technicians´ Business app, maintaining uniformity across the team.   

Note: Starting from 3.7.4.2, technicians will not be able to use the customized SOS template if the global SOS template is enabled.

  • Splashtop SOS Legacy, SOS Unlimited, Unified SOS+10, Unified SOS+300

Enabling global invitation template

By default, the Global invitation template is off. Once enabled, the Detailed setup message will be applied as a global template across all technicians´ Business app. 

Admins or team owners can enable the SOS Global invitation template from the web console by navigating to Management > Settings > Attended Access > Global invitation template.

 

Once enabled, select Detailed Setup to edit the invitation template.

 

When this feature is enabled, the global template will be locked and cannot be modified by technicians on the Business app, ensuring consistency across the team:

The template will appear when navigating to SOS > Connect to User´s device > Invite by Email.

 

You can also select the option SOS > Invite User by Email...

 

Disabling this feature allows technicians to create and manage up to five different invitation templates. Customized templates are stored at the account level, meaning they will be synced across all devices linked to the same account.
