Why I received "Invalid Connection Token. Please try restarting Splashtop Streamer." error?

When you attempt to connect to a computer in the business app, you may receive this error message "Invalid Connection Token." The message indicates that a token (an identifier used to link the correct matching of devices) is incorrect in the process of matching between the devices. Tokens refresh every 12 hours. A token may be incorrect on either the business app or streamer side.

Solution

1. Please try restarting the streamer. Starting with Splashtop Business app version 3.1.2.1, you can click on the gear icon next to a computer to find the restart streamer/reboot computer options.

2. Mac:

    1. Open DMG installer
      (click here to download the Splashtop Business or Splashtop Streamer installer)
    2. double click and run the Uninstall script

   Windows:

     1. Please try doing a clean reinstall of the streamer. Please run the zip attachment to uninstall, plus cleanup                  registries and directories:

    • Splashtop Streamer: CleanUpInstallerSRS.zip

    2. Please try doing a clean reinstall of the business app. Please run the zip attachment to uninstall, plus cleanup ,        registries and directories:

    • Splashtop Business App: CleanUpInstallerSRC.zip
