Requirements:
- Active SOS with Mobile, SOS+10, SOS Teams, SOS Unlimited service or Splashtop Enterprise
- Team owner or Technician manager roles
Step 1: Locate SOS customization on web console
For Splashtop Enterprise team:
Login https://my.splashtop.com, click on Management tab, then you can find SOS Customization.
For Splashtop SOS/SOS+10/SOS unlimited team:
Login https://my.splashtop.com, click on SOS tab, then "Make your own branded SOS App".
Step 2: Create your custom SOS
Click Create SOS App button to create a new SOS app.
Configurable items can be divided into three parts:

*Note* Kindly ensure that the icon image is uploaded in ICO format only, as changing the file type may cause SOS to malfunction. - Options
- Disclaimer
- Auto-delete .exe/dmg file after end user closes the app: if the option is selected, the SOS instance will be automatically deleted upon closing the customized app.
Click on Create button to save the SOS app you just created.
*Note* SOS app can't be modified once it's created. Use Clone to create a new SOS app based on the settings of an existed SOS appStep 3: Share the custom SOS with your end users
Click on the "Share" button next to the custom SOS app
Configurable items can be divided into three parts:
- Share Link
Copy the shareable link and input it in browser, or click on Try Link button, it will bring up Download page and start downloading based on OS platform user is using automatically.
Link Type:- Splashtop download page - with Splashtop logo displayed
- Download page without Splashtop branding – vanilla version of SOS app
- Splashtop download page - with Splashtop logo displayed
- Download App
Select the desired OS platform, and click on Download button to download SOS app directly. - Embed an iframe
Embed the iframe element to your website, the downloaded SOS version will be up-to-date. The color of the button is also customizable!
Additional Notes
- You can host the shareable link or SOS app on your website to share with your users.
- The download SOS app is signed automatically. Please note that customization will be reviewed for compliance with the Terms of Service, and violation may result in suspension of account.
- The Custom SOS Package will only allow Team members from the same Team to be able to access. Below message will appear if you are trying to access the computer from a different team than the one the SOS package was created from.
- It's also possible to apply the customized package to Third Party Integration created SOS app.
